Reliance Protect heads for Lone Worker safety expo

Reading, Berkshire

Reliance High-Tech will be the headline sponsor at this year’s Lone Worker Safety Expo on the 28th March 2017 at London’s Olympia with the company’s lone worker safety service solution, Reliance Protect.

The Lone Worker Safety Expo is the only event of the year dedicated around the protection of lone workers and teaches delegates how to balance duty of care with providing an effective service to the public. Delegates will gain insight into legal obligations and the latest updates to BS 8484 lone worker standard, the business benefits, and how to minimise risks through adopting risk assessments, using training and technology, making the Expo the perfect place to gain information and advice on lone worker protection.

The Reliance Protect team will be on hand throughout the day demonstrating exactly why the company is the UK’s largest provider of BS 8484 lone worker protection solutions that are used by over 35,000 staff. The service is currently used across hundreds of organisations, including NHS bodies, local authorities, social housing providers, charities and central government agencies as well as commercial businesses in a range of market sectors.

Commenting, Chris Allcard, Head of Lone Worker Services, Reliance High-Tech, said: “We’re excited to be supporting this year’s Lone Worker Safety Expo, particularly as the protection of staff working out in the field, often alone, remains top of the health and safety agenda for many organisations.

“This event provides information about why it’s important to protect lone workers and how technology supported by policies and procedures can help businesses do just that in a cost-effective manner. We look forward to welcoming delegates on 28th March and discussing how Reliance Protect combines the latest accredited technology and industry-leading service levels with extensive reporting and management support.”
