The recorders are all equipped with Intel Core 2 QUAD processors, power supply with redundancy, Gigabit LAN Controller, RAID Controller and latest SATA technology. MX-Recorders are available as network video recorder, hybrid video recorder and real time recorder with 8 to 32 video inputs. The new range is completed with the MX-SO, a storage only solution with 24 TByte which is compatible with all Multieye recorders.

The newest generation of megapixel cameras with up to 11 MPixel as well as real-time recording of analogue- and IP-Cameras requires a completely new approach in regard to the storage capacity of the digital video recorder and the CCTV installation. Most Digital Recorders are not designed for the enormous amount of data that the HDD and the LAN controller have to cope with in modern CCTV installations.
