Pulse Secure shows continued growth across Europe and Middle East

Ruscombe, Berkshire (UK)

Pulse Secure is demonstrating successful growth and continued expansion across EMEA that has seen the company deliver sustained double digit revenue growth, along with an expanded channel partner community, serving more countries across the region, over the last 24 months.

Since launching as an independent entity in 2014, Pulse Secure has invested significant resource into expanding its footprint across EMEA. The team has grown to 28 staff including channel managers and technical experts to help support a community of 39 distribution offices including both international broadliners such as Arrow ECS and Westcon Security, along with country specialists such as Kappadata in Belgium and Dubai based Mindware serving the Middle East and North Africa.

“The last two years has been a fantastic journey with Pulse Secure emerging into the market as an innovative and highly focused company and no more so has this been apparent as across EMEA which has seen our active channel community grow to around 1200 partners,” says Paul Donovan VP EMEA Sales at Pulse Secure. Expansion at a partner level has matched growth of the Pulse Secure EMEA team that in the last year has added executive management and technical engineering covering 50 countries with new offices in Italy, Southern Germany and currently recruiting for Saudi Arabia.

“Our recruitment drive is continuing in an effort to ensure that we are better able to support our channel engage with prospects, enable technical evaluations and ultimately deliver successful projects,” says Donovan, “This commitment is vital as the wider market goes through a transition towards a more mobile and cloud centric environment where secure access needs to be agile enough to deal with the new hybrid IT.”

Pulse Secure EMEA channel partners and customers have also benefited from a number of successful campaigns including the recently launched AdvanceNow promotion offering free upgrades of legacy hardware appliances to current generation technology with the purchase of Secure Access Suite licenses. “Advancenow is a great example of a promotion that provides our channel with a practical way to help customers begin that journey towards a comprehensive Secure Access solution that connects workers to company resources and protects devices, regardless of location – in the data centre, internal network, cloud or mobile,” says Donovan.

Another key area of the successful expansion is the ease of doing business along with a non-partisan approach towards technology partners at both a customer and technology interoperability level. “We are the only pure play security vendor operating across access control, SSL VPN, and mobile device security with both hardware appliances and pure software offerings. This focus gives us a unique position to deliver solutions that integrate the widest range of third party vendors and technologies,” explains Donovan.

“On the ground, this means we regularly work alongside key strategic partners such as Juniper, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Ruckus, Fortinet and many others to ensure that we deliver the best solution that meets the need of the customer – this approach is essential to ensure that security is engineered as an integrated and seamless experience that can adapt as environments change,” Donovan adds.
