Pelco to launch host of new products at ASIS

Pelco is pleased has announced several exciting new additions to its product line. The following new products along with many others will be on display at the Pelco booth at the ASIS 2006 annual seminar and exhibits next month. Below is a brief summary of just a few of those new products due to be presented at the show.

For more than 10 years, the Pelco Spectra Integrated Camera Dome System has been known as an internationally known video system, and now Spectra IV proudly continues to set the industry standard for innovation and performance. The latest in a long line of products under the Spectra name, Spectra IV is a powerful complement to any security installation. Spectra IV offers industry-leading advanced optics, including 35X optical zoom lens, 540 TV lines of resolution and the ability to capture quality images at an amazingly low .007 lux. Coupled with electronic image stabilisation, enhanced wide dynamic range, an integrated scheduler-and much more-Spectra IV has been specifically designed and engineered to help enhance the safety of people, property, and assets.
The Pelco DVR5100 ushers in a whole new era in digital video recording, combining powerful search and export, easy operation, and video performance previously reserved for extremely high-end systems. For users who require the best possible picture, the best possible frame rate, and the longest possible retention time, serious security begins with the DVR5100.
Spectra Mini offers many of the most desired features of Spectra III systems in a smaller, lighter, less-expensive package. A 4.1-inch dome houses a powerful high-resolution colour integrated optics package with 10X Optical Zoom and an 8X Digital Zoom. Keeping with Spectra tradition, the Spectra Mini utilises Pelco's famous Proportional Pan and Tilt technology for precise camera control at full zoom. Standard on-board UTP circuit and 24V power make installing the Spectra Mini simple. Additionally, the Spectra Mini is visually similar to Pelco's ICS090 Camclosure series, which enables users to deploy both systems for an aesthetically seamless application.
The new DX8100 digital video recorder continues the strong tradition established by Pelco's very successful DX8000. The DX8100 serves the small-matrix replacement market, which demands a rich array of features-including server-to-server connectivity-and offers improved capacity and performance along with increased frame rate. Software enhancements include expansion of already superior search capabilities.
Pelco's Ultra High Resolution camera series has over a dozen cameras with 540 TV Lines of resolution. The combination of superior picture quality and a full line-up of features, make these cameras the ideal solution for most any application. Designed to provide exceptional picture quality over a wide range of environmental conditions, the CC3770UH, CC3710UH, CC3610UH, and CCC1380UH series of cameras are the most recent additions to Pelco's already impressive array of cameras and professional imaging products for the video security industry.
Whether planning a new IP-based video security installation or a digital extension of an existing analogue video matrix, the new Pelco DVR5300 Series delivers an ideal solution. Capable of recording both analogue and digital video and audio, DVR5300 combines the benefits of a digital video recorder and a network video recorder. Now enterprises can make the most of their existing analogue video security infrastructure, while realising the flexibility and performance of the Pelco EnduraT network-based video system.
The PelcoUTP series unshielded twisted pair (UTP) transmission system incorporates both active and passive technologies. Active receivers incorporate Pelco's unique Adaptive Technology, modifying video signal to compensate for long run lengths-up to 4,000 feet in full motion colour/black and white, and eliminating the need for manual adjustments. The full line of passive models eliminate the need for external power while providing video signal up to 750 feet, even with pan/tilt/zoom control.
Pelco continues to meet growing demand with the best transmission available over extended distances. New PelcoFiber products now offer exceptional optical budget up to 28db and can easily transmit up to 46km, when using single mode, with no loss of image clarity or quality. Also, PelcoFiber products now meet and exceed NEMA TS-1/TS-2 and Caltrans Specifications for Traffic Signal Control Equipment. The PelcoFiber models offer a great solution for the demanding needs of any industry.
