Passan range now with security management software

Access Control manufacturer FDI has added to the capability of its Passan range with the introduction of security management software that facilitates the integration with CCTV.
PassanSoft equips a Passan access control system on an IP network to fully interact with a CCTV system, allowing operators in real time to remotely monitor and record video from an unlimited number of cameras and DVRs. Recorded video can be also be remotely searched, retrieved and viewed via PassanSoft.
When an event occurs, a camera can be triggered to display and record the activity at the respective access control reader with the employee's/card holder's information, including a photo for verification, displayed on the operators screen.
PassanSoft can control pan/tilt cameras whilst the graphical user interface provides the option of single image, quad or sixteen screen display.
