NSI, ECA and FSA sign MoU

London, UK

NSI, ECA and FSA shake on new partnership

The National Security Inspectorate (NSI), Electrical Contractors' Association (ECA) and its specialist group the Fire and Security Association (FSA) ) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

As a result of the agreement, ECA and FSA members will be eligible for discounts on NSI initial certification fees and training courses. Companies approved already with the NSI who apply for FSA or ECA membership, will receive a discount on their first year’s subscription fee.

The MoU was signed recently at Ifsec International and will take effect from July 1 this year.

Commenting on the new agreement, Steve Bratt, ECA Group CEO, and Richard Jenkins, NSI CEO, had the following to say:

“We’ve worked together on a number of issues over the years, so formalising this relationship in this way was a natural move,” says ECA Group CEO Steve Bratt. “This is a crucial time for the electrical, fire and security industries and this agreement will mean we are able to combine our expertise for the good of the industry and allow our respective members access to the others’ offerings at a reduced rate.”

Richard Jenkins, Chief Executive of NSI, commented:“The ECA, FSA and NSI are committed to improving industry standards, ensuring clients receive the highest quality service from their contractors and helping businesses evolve and grow, so it seems fitting to put this agreement together now. This should help firms of all sizes have access to the services and support they need, and enable us to use our collective expertise to tackle a range of key industry issues.”
