Advantages of 360-degree cameras include a reduction the number of cameras required on site, they can avoid blind spots, and they save maintenance costs as there are no moving parts on the cameras.
The ONVIF compliant SNF-7010, which features a digital PTZ, utilises Progressive Scan technology to provide sharp edges on moving subjects and vehicles. It supports up to six streams of video using either H.264 or MJPEG compression formats, providing the option to simultaneously transmit images to multiple locations at various frame rates. A number of different authorised users are therefore able to monitor live images at one location, record video evidence at another, or view live.
A built-in SD/SDHC/SDXC memory slot provides the opportunity for authorised users to remotely access and download video that has been recorded onto a memory card. Other key features include four polygonal motion detection zones, privacy masking, tamper alert and bi-directional audio. When combined with on-board video analytics, the built in microphone provides audio detection capability.
