Ideal for for use in applications as large chain retail stores, super markets, and parking lots where multiple NVRs are needed, the CV3-M1024 is designed with a true client-server architecture. Once it's installed, it runs as one of the Windows services and operates in the background. You can install the client-side software on another PC and perform tasks such as live video monitor, playback, or configurations change. It has a built-in web server which allows you to access the CV3P server for live video monitoring and playback without installing any additional software.

It provides instant event notification and playback coming from live videos. It also keeps a log of previously triggered events for you to playback at anytime. It provides not only live video from the channel where the event has been triggered,but also the channel detail information as well as its geographic information with an embedded mini e-map. This function is specifically designed for giving significant information when an event is triggered.

When a user has installed multiple cameras at the entrance of a building facing different directions, using synchronised playback, this software solution is capable of playing back videos recorded at the same time from up to 4 cameras. Within the interface, users are not only able to search recorded videos by time or by event, but also to stop, pause, fast forward or rewind the playback videos at anytime. Users can deploy digital zoom-in a playback video if it was recorded in high resolution and can also take a snapshot as well as export a portion of the recorded video as an AVI file to a local PC for further investigation.

The CV3-M1024 provides a multi-layered e-map to give users a clear overview where cameras are located. It supports PIP (Picture-in-Picture) map views, and all layers provide on-the-fly instant notifications with videos displayed whenever the system detects an event.

The CV3 software solution is designed with a user-friendly interface that provides intuitive controls such as drag and drop. Users can re-arrange the position of each video any time by simply clicking and dragging a video window and dropping it onto a different one. All NVRs and cameras are listed on the side of the window. Users can simply drag a camera from the list, and drop it onto a desired video window. On the other hand, users can also simply drag an NVR and drop it in the video area. All channels will be placed and displayed with positions of each channel arranged automatically.
