Industry MD climbs Kilimanjaro for charity

Nortech Managing Director Stephen Blackler has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro.

The climb was in aid of Tenovus, The Cancer Charity. With the generous support from many customers, suppliers and friends, Steve raised a total of £2000 for the cancer charity.
Tenovus is a national cancer charity, dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by cancer through high quality research, education and care & support.
Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest free-standing mountain in the world and is located just 205 miles south of the Equator.
Steve's trip was funded by Nortech and entailed a total of 6 days trekking across a wide range of terrains and climates; from the freezing snowcaps to the sweltering tropical heats. Despite the aches and pains, Steve made it to the top in one piece.
On behalf of Tenovus, Nortech would like to say thanks for all the support and donations received.
