iLOQ presents the self-powered iLOQ Europrofile cylinder. The Europrofile cylinder shape is very common in Europe but also popular in international markets. As the iLOQ Europrofile cylinder does not need any cabling or use of battery it can easily replace existing Europrofile cylinders. Due to its modular structure, different lengths with half, double and knob cylinders can be easily managed. The product will be available from autumn 2010.

iLOQ is also introducing the iLOQ Private concept. iLOQ Private is an innovative and high-security locking solution for autonomous management of key access to homes, small businesses and recreational properties. End-users have full control of access rights to their properties and can add or remove access rights of keys within five seconds. Lost keys are eliminated simply by resetting the iLOQ Private cylinder.

iLOQ Private sets the system owner free of having different keys to each property. But it allows the system owner to decide which key opens which door. iLOQ Private enables expanding the locking system with new locks and keys meeting future needs. High security of iLOQ Private is granted by high-security digitally encryption, eliminating risks related to unauthorized mechanical key copying. All locks and keys in iLOQ Private system are mechanically alike making the logistics very easy. In the beginning iLOQ Private can be shipped with Scandinavian oval iLOQ cylinders. Later this year iLOQ Private will be available with Europrofile DIN cylinder versions.
