Hughes enhances time & attendance with Stanley
Swindon, Wiltshire
Hughes had originally relied on a paper based mechanical clocking machine to monitor employees’ working hours, which Stanley converted in 2007 to an Astrow Plus computerised system connected to their PCs, transferring all time worked for automatic calculation. As Hughes has grown, the Astrow Plus system has now been seamlessly upgraded by Stanley to the full Astrow software suite, providing Hughes Safety Showers with wider functionality, including the ability to link the time & attendance system directly to the company’s existing payroll software.
The full Astrow time & attendance systems comes with a number of additional features, most notably for Hughes a feature to manage employee holidays and ‘Bradford Factor’ absence monitoring and reporting. These features have enabled Hughes to eliminate its former paper based system vastly reducing administration time, especially in preparing the weekly payroll for its 90 plus employees, and improving overall company efficiency.
Stanley’s popular Astrow is a feature rich, modular time & attendance system that can be tailored to suit the needs of a customer, for up to 1500 employees and up to 400 different daily shift patterns. It offers an integrated HR functionality, full absence analysis, remote access for PC based clockings and employee self service and has the ability to link to many payroll systems. Astrow has been designed to provide employers with instant access and control of every part of their workforce’s time-keeping, absenteeism, flexible hours variance, overtime and payroll, to ensure up to date management information on every working individual.
