Due to growth of the business in the Asia-Pacific and Americas regions along with the continued decline in Europe, Gunnebo intends to realign its manufacturing footprint accordingly.
The planned closure may affect 32 employees and a consultation process to this effect has been initiated. The closure is planned to take place in Q4 2014. The cost for a closure would burden results in 2014 with 16 MSEK or just under 1.5M GBP with yearly savings of 11 MSEK or around 1M GBP from Q1 2015.

Gunnebo to close entrance control production in UK

The Gunnebo Security Group plans to close its entrance control production facility in Uckfield, UK with production and assembly transferring to other production units within Entrance Control in the Group.
