External detectors have been traditionally designed to work at a fixed range, but the D-TECT-50 can be set to operate over any distance in its range detecting movement up to a 45 meter perimeter.
Once installed at say a height of 3 metres, the D-TECT-50 can also be adjusted from the ground using a hand-held key fob, which will automatically change the range and pulse count sensitivity to the required level.
GJD's new D-TECT-50 long range perimeter detector is BS8418 compliant and comes fully loaded with complete D-TECT² functionality, offering all the following features and benefits:

GJD launch D-TECT-50, brings unique programmability to PIRs

In partnership with its largest and long-term distributor ADI-GARDINER, GJD has launched the D-TECT-50, a new PIR detector. Not only programmable over any distance between 25 and 50 meters, its field of view can be exactly matched to that of the camera.
