With Identi Class, developers benefit from a single embedded device with multiple features that offers a flexible interface to all contactless and contact credentials, including options to support multiple applications. The open Identi Class platform encompasses all popular protocols, including Mifare, Desfire, and iClass, as well as Windows, Windows CE, Linux and Mac operating systems to address diverse organizational requirements in government markets.

Designed for flexibility and scalability, the Identi Class platform includes two reader modules, the 3300 Reader Core – for hand-held terminals and other space critical applications which is CE approved, and the 3500 Reader Board – for kiosk terminals where multiple antennas are required, which is CE and FCC Modular approved.

In addition, HID Global’s new state-of-the-art Identi Class developer tool kit provides OEMs and developers a link to a secure, online developer portal for access to samples of Identi Class reader boards, testing materials and all the relevant technical resources, tools and documentation developers require to accelerate their solution design.
