Corps Monitoring Centre appoints new MD
Glasgow, UK
Outlining his key aims and objectives, Mike said, ‘Corps Security is a highly ambitious, well run and forward thinking company which offers specialised security services that are unmatched anywhere else in the industry. With such a unique offering I firmly believe that there is huge potential for the company in terms of providing new and existing customers with a fully integrated service that combines the benefits of traditional manned guarding with the technology based capabilities of the CMC.’
Based in Glasgow, the CMC provides alarm receiving and remote monitoring services to a wide range of customers across many market sectors on an independent basis, or as part of a broader platform of services. It is the most advanced facility of its kind in the UK and incorporates the highest specification equipment that is constantly upgraded. In addition, it boasts National Security Inspectorate (NSI) Gold accreditation as well as BS 8418 and ISO 9001:2008 certifications.
Mike is convinced that the FM sector is moving away from what is commonly referred to as total facilities management and is looking for more specialised services that can offer excellent levels of customer service. Corps Security’s abilities in this respect were recently highlighted when it received the prestigious Customer Care Initiative of the Year award at the Security Excellence Awards. Judges praised its commitment to continual improvement in this area of its business through its Customer Charter, which is based around the acronym PRIDE – proactivity, reliability, integrity, delivery and enthusiasm.
Welcoming Mike on board, Corps Security’s chief executive, Peter Webster, said, ‘I’m delighted that Mike has joined us. With his considerable understanding and knowledge of the FM market, he will be able to identify a plethora of potential expansion opportunities that are in line with our overall business plan. I wish him every success in achieving his objectives.’
