Compact intelligent video server
Jerusalem, Israel
The Pegasus-M intelligent video server, based on Texas Instrument's DaVinchi technology, employs advanced video analytics from the world's top vendors and supports H.264, MPEG-4 and MJPEG video compression. It is equipped with a serial port for PTZ control and bi-directional TTL's and can be powered by Mango's IVS (intelligent video software) to enable seamless integration of third party video analytic software. Combined with Mango DSPs IVS the Pegasus-M is an immensely powerful video solution that reacts to predefined threats transforming standard cameras into intelligent security devices.
Mango DSP recently also introduced Raven-M rack, a 19'' wired enclosure designed to accommodate up to 18 rack-mounted Mango DSP Raven-M servers. The Raven-M is a scalable cost effective solution, upgrading centralized systems into network based solutions. The Raven-M Rack is fully compatible with the Raven-M, enabling all of its intelligent video features and allowing integration with content analysis and video surveillance management software.
"Mango DSPs new products, the Pegasus-M and Raven-M rack are further proof of our entrepreneurial spirit in the quest to provide much-needed intelligent security solutions," says Baruch Peled, CEO of Mango DSP "It is precisely this kind of innovation that was recently recognized by Frost & Sullivan when they granted us the 2007 video and encoder Entrepreneurial Company of the Year award"
"As an emerging company in the market, Mango DSP understands that the key to success is ensuring partnerships that can help increase its customer base," says Frost & Sullivan research analyst Giridhar Athmanathan "One such effort is the three-way partnership between Mango DSP, Micron Systems Inc, and Texas Instruments Inc (TI) that helped produce Pegasus"
