CNL highlights latest developments in Dubai

Knaphill, Surrey and Dubai, U.A.E

CNL Software will be showcasing the latest advancements to its Ipsecuritycenter PSIM solution at Intersec 2017 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The latest version of Ipsecuritycenter PSIM adds a wide range of enhancements to enable large scale federated systems to support mission critical environments, both in government organisations and private enterprise.

Intersec comes at a time where the rise in the number of security incidents globally is driving security professionals to look at better methods to fight against the evolving threats from new technologies such as drones and new threats such as small organised criminal cells. This has created the need for more situational data, and has meant that 90 percent of today’s data has been created in just the last two years, with more being created every second. The demand for integrated, automated, intelligent, and large scale management systems has never been greater, both in public space and private enterprise.

“We are seeing larger and more complex control room systems every year within the region. Interestingly security is not the only focus, with organisations looking to leverage intelligence to support other business and operational functions utilizing the technology, people and processes that were traditionally considered as purely security investments”, says Daniel Bloodworth, General Manager – Middle East. “At the same time we are seeing our solutions expanding into more security sensitive environments, with technologies such as radar, sonar and tracking becoming part of infrastructure protection programmes. Both trends are creating more data, and with it comes the need to architect solutions that can be scaled, distributed and managed across vast enterprises.”

“The 2017 edition of Intersec is set to be the largest and most international edition to date, the perfect platform to meet our industry peers and discuss the huge strides we have made in managing complexity out of security operations” comments Adlan Hussain, VP Marketing. “The next 12 months will see even more data to manage from a wider range of sources in the control room. It will be complex, and often challenging, but will help the security industry increase its capabilities, its value and ultimately its relevance in today’s information age. We have prepared for this change and are now helping customers and partners to drive it.”
