Bosch offers new out-of-the-box HD CCTV 700 Series recorders
Munich, Germany
The supplied Bosch Video Client (BVC) software, which supports 700 Series HD recorders free of charge, makes operation as simple as possible. An intuitive interface with clear, menu-driven options is quick to learn and easy to use. BVC’s capabilities include remote display of live and recorded video in both 1080p and 720p HD resolutions, as well as SD and analogue 4CIF/D1 resolutions.
The new 700 Series HD recorders meet the growing trend towards digital and HD surveillance systems. The network recorders make the perfect match for pure IP environments. With a fully automated, onboard IP camera management system, each unit supports a total of 32 H.264 cameras. Alternatively, the hybrid models provide the ideal, future-proof choice for growing applications which use a mix of analog and IP cameras. They support up to eight or 16 analogue cameras and an additional eight or 16 IP channels.
Getting the most out of CCTV images, 700 Series recorders capture all the details while keeping storage requirements to a minimum. The optimised H.264 compression technology from Bosch reduces bandwidth and storage needs by some 30 percent compared to traditional MPEG-4 systems. Storage can be extended easily up to eight Tbyte using in-field updates, while an optional external storage array can be attached in a matter of seconds.
700 Series recorders suit a very wide range of applications and are ideal for medium- to large-scale systems. Examples include shopping centres, car parks, banks and financial institutions, city centres and crowd surveillance, and casinos and hotel complexes.
