Bosch expands network video portfolio
Munich, Germany
In addition to their external design, these cameras are also fully featured. The latest sensors and image processing technology from the professional security industry have been optimised for small business surveillance. “The micro 2000 IP cameras and Flexidome micro 2000 IP cameras, for use in complete network video surveillance systems, offer quality images for a broad range of applications,” explains Ian Crosby, Head of Product Management at Bosch Security Systems. “These new cameras provide the highest level of detail to match both your application and your budget. This makes them ideally suited for small to medium-sized installations, like private homes or retail outlets.”
Both cameras are designed as complete networked video systems. They include a dropbox application for remote storage of recorded activity, while also benefiting from 50 percent less storage needs in static scenes due to iDNR (intelligent dynamic noise reduction), saving on memory requirements, bandwidth, and costs. Furthermore, the Video Client PC software and the live viewer app from Bosch are available free of charge for reviewing live and recorded video material on a PC or mobile device from any location with Internet access.
In addition, the micro 2000 IP cameras and Flexidome micro 2000 IP cameras are ONVIF conformant and compatible with software and storage solutions of third-party integrators. This is supported by the Integration Partner Program, which gives Bosch clients immediate access to online tools for easy integration of management and recording software, video analytics, monitor wall systems and cloud monitoring.
