All-in-one digital security surveillance platform

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Huper Laboratories (known as HuperLab), announce a new all-in-one digital security surveillance platform with full integration of HuperLab HM6316 DSS Server Board, Intel Core 2 Duo Processors, Seagate SV35 Series Hard Drives, and huperVision 4000 Intelligent Surveillance Software Suite. This newly released DSS platform is expected to improve total cost of ownership and decrease time to market with the integration of key building blocks consolidated into one platform while still meeting the critical needs of the security surveillance industry.

HuperLab HM6316 DSS Server Board provides up to 16CH 480FPS/400FPS D1 resolution raw data capturing and display. 16 real-time video capture chips are embedded seamlessly on the server board, allowing easy installation, full system integration and improved compatibility. Optimized for Intel Core Microarchitecture and Seagate surveillance storage technology, the bundling surveillance software, huperVision 4000, offers not only rich intelligent video analytics features for both CCTV and IP surveillance markets, but 16CH real-time H.264 software encoding at full D1 resolution at the same time.

"With the platform integration of HuperLab, Intel and Seagate, the customers can enjoy the benefits of high performance and reliability that this DSS platform brings, without worrying about system compatibility and extra testing efforts." says Albert Yang, president at Huper Laboratories Co., Ltd.

"The introduction of this platform based on Intel Architecture will lessen total cost of ownership for digital security platforms by offering an integrated solution with optimized codecs on IA," said Ton Steenman, vice president and general manager, Intel Low-Power Embedded Products Division. "The overall performance IA brings to the table will allow easy integration of multiple video formats."

"The Seagate SV35 Series of video surveillance hard drives enable greater capacity, reliability, performance, and features in digital video surveillance systems and applications through combining Seagate's latest advancements in hard drive technology with features designed specifically for digital video surveillance recording," said Kevin Lee, Managing Director for Seagate's APAC Sales Development & Marketing. "Now surveillance system manufacturers and systems integrators don't have to settle for hard drives designed primarily for general purpose computing. The Seagate SV35 Series offers enterprise-class reliability for 24x7 video surveillance applications, with more than one million hours MTBF and less than one percent AFR for improved data transfer rates enabling higher-performance video recording."
