ADI to focus training sessions on fire industry legislation

Bury, Lancashire

As part of its continuing commitment to training and education, ADI Global Distribution UK is hosting a series of four free Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Fire Security seminars and tradeshows throughout March 2011, and focusing on the fire industry legislation.
Each event will feature 7 educational CPD seminars and a tradeshow. The tradeshow enables attendees to have face-to-face discussions with leading manufacturers and trade organisations. Seminars have been designed to help decision makers in fire security to understand the various laws and regulations relating to the implementation of fire detection and alarm systems. They also enable existing CPD members to add to their required 35 hours of training.

The seminars are taking place in conjunction with the CPD Service covering subjects such as false alarm reduction and emergency lighting. They are sponsored by key emergency lighting and fire product suppliers/manufacturers including Apollo, Morley IAS, SPEL, Sterling Safety, Fike, Xtralis and C-TEC. The events are also supported by a range of organisations - including the British Fire Consortium, BAFE, the SSAIB and the NSI.
