The award represents the first major contract secured by Clantect since becoming part of 3D X-Ray and marks another important milestone in the continued international deployment of advanced clandestine detection technology.

Clantect HPDS is designed to provide a fast, highly accurate, non-intrusive system for detecting the presence of human beings concealed within vehicles, trucks and trailers. The system uses a proprietary vibration detection methodology that distinguishes between external environmental vibrations and movement generated from within a vehicle, enabling highly effective screening without intrusive inspection procedures.

The latest version of the Clantect HPDS incorporates wireless sensor technology that enables multiple vehicles to be screened simultaneously, significantly increasing throughput at border checkpoints, ports and other security-critical locations.
