Extremely reliable and versatile, Redscan Pro range uses Lidar technology to create a high-resolution virtual laser wall or plane up to 100m long, The sensor features an integrated panoramic assistance camera, that allows to visualise the detection area and make quickly a first optical alignment. Redscan Pro is also ONVIF protocol (Profile S) compliant, meaning it allows alarm outputs and the video stream from the assistance camera to be sent to any ONVIF-compliant network video system or IP network devices.
The series includes two models the RLS-3060V and the RLS 50100V featuring respectively 30 x 60 m and 50 x 100 m detection range in high resolution. The detection pattern is rectangular (instead of fan-shaped) allowing to protect easily from corner to corner: facades, flat roofs of commercial buildings and perimeter structures of large installations.
The award was received by Mark Cosgrave, Optex Divisional Manager for the Nordics and Southern Europe, during the Awards ceremony which took place on the 27th of October at Stockholmsmässan in Sweden, in conjunction with the security technology event Sectech Expo & Seminars.

In this 2021 edition twelve manufacturers were awarded and four of them were chosen as the overall winner in their respective product category: ID & Access Control, Alarm & Detection, Video Surveillance and IoT Security.
