Thales awarded Ecovadis Platinum status

Paris, France

Thales has been awarded the Ecovadis Platinum Medal, the highest distinction granted by one of the world's leading providers of sustainability ratings, with a score of 91/100. This recognition places the Group among the top 1% of companies assessed in 2026.

This result, according to the company, reflects the continuous progress achieved through Protect, Thales’ sustainability programme.

Progress across all assessed areas

Compared with 2025, Thales improved its overall score by 8 points, thanks to progress made in each of the four areas assessed by Ecovadis:

  • Environment: 96/100 (+5 points)
  • Labour & Human Rights: 90/100 (+14 points)
  • Ethics: 84/100 (+2 points)
  • Sustainable Procurement: 94/100 (+9 points)

A collective achievement

This distinction recognises the commitment of Thales teams and reinforces the Group's ambition to help its customers and partners build a safer, more environmentally friendly and more inclusive world.

According to Anne Bolot-Gittler, Thales’ Chief Sustainability Officer,  “Behind this Platinum Medal and our score of 91/100 lies the daily commitment of Thales teams around the world. This recognition of the progress we have achieved encourages us to continue pursuing our actions through Protect, with the same high standards in order to deliver on our 2030 ambitions.”

Continued recognition of sustainability performance

This distinction adds to a series of sustainability recognitions received by Thales in recent years, including:

  • Inclusion in the CAC 40 ESG Index;
  • Making the CDP Climate A-List for the third consecutive year;
  • Jumping to No. 22 in Time and Statista’s "World's Best Companies 2026" list, leaping 200 places compared with the previous year.
