Optex will be exhibiting at Sicur in Madrid next week, with its Spanish sales, marketing and management team to showcase its latest innovations in sensing and detection solutions.

“Sicur is the premier security event in Spain, bringing together the latest industry developments and innovations from across the Iberian market,” says Milton Acosta, Optex Regional Sales Manager for Iberia.

“The show is the best platform to engage with our customers and partners, gain feedback, and showcase our leading sensing and detection solutions through a series of live and interactive demonstrations. It also provides us with the first in-person opportunity to discuss our newly opened dedicated training centre in Madrid. The new facility enables us to better support our customers and partners, as well as provide a space to showcase our technologies through demonstrations and training.”

Throughout the show, Optex will be providing live demonstrations of its award-winning Redscan Lidar technology, including the latest evolution of the series, the recently launched Redscan mini-Pro sensor range, which has been selected as part of the Sicur 2024 Innovation Gallery. Bringing an additional layer of security intelligence, the Redscan mini-Pro features high-precision Lidar detection and an integrated IR camera for real-time alarm verification.

For the first time in Iberia, Optex will also introduce its latest evolution in fibre optic sensing technology for perimeter protection. The Fiber Sensys Echopoint Distributed Acoustic Sensors (DAS) with an intelligent detection algorithm that provides pinpoint detection of +/- 6m in a range of up to 100km.

The show will also provide the opportunity for Optex to showcase the Flip X series – its range of Grade 2 and Grade 3 indoor intrusion detectors that feature an innovative lens that can be ‘flipped’ to provide both narrow and wide detection in a single sensor.
