Latest ACM release integrates with HID Origo

London, UK

Access Control Manager (ACM) 6.26 from Avigilon, is now available and this latest release introduces an integration with HID Origo, a cloud-based physical access control platform.

Avigilon offers trusted and secure door readers, credentials and mobile solutions from HID Global for facilities to protect people and property. Administrators at these facilities can equip users with mobile credentials to access doors from the convenience of the HID Mobile Access app on their mobile device.

The new HID Origo integration allows administrators to save more time and effort with the ability to issue mobile credentials directly from the ACM system, helping to simplify the provisioning of mobile credentials.

Furthermore, ACM 6.26 supports Assa Abloy’s new generation of hub hardware: AH40 (part number: AC-AA-GEN5-AH40-HUB-AH40IN2) and AH20 (part number: AC-AA-GEN5-AH20-HUB-AH20W14-NNNN). On a single hub, the AH40 enables the connection of up to 64 Aperio wireless locks and devices to Mercury hardware via IP/ethernet. Whereas the Assa Abloy AH20 1-to-1 is an advanced Aperio Wiegand interface communication hub.

It also supports RS-485 gateway mode for Schlage NDEB and LEB wireless locks, providing greater flexibility for ACM to configure and communicate with the locks via Mercury hardware.
