Yuasa, one of Europe’s leading industrial battery manufacturers, has entered into a partnership with Skills for Security, a UK leading fire and security training provider. The partnership, according to Yuasa, underscores the Japanese battery manufacturer’s commitment to advancing the education and training of the next generation of fire and security professionals.

Operating from four-technology-filled training centres across the UK, Skills for Security aims to make training accessible for learners and employers alike. Established in 2002, they've fast become the UK’s top apprenticeship provider in the sector. With this latest partnership, the two companies are set to foster expertise and professionalism in the fire and security industry.

Yuasa's support will enable Skills for Security to expand its educational initiatives, including the development of cutting-edge training modules and the facilitation of apprenticeship programs across the UK.

"We are thrilled to announce Yuasa's sponsorship of Skills for Security," said David Scott, Managing Director at Skills for Security. "This partnership reflects Yuasa's dedication to supporting education and innovation within the industry, aligning perfectly with our goals to elevate standards and empower future professionals."

James Taylor, General Manager Commercial at GS Yuasa Battery Sales UK Ltd., added: "This collaboration represents our shared commitment to nurturing talent and driving excellence within the security sector. We look forward to contributing to the success of Skills for Security's programs and initiatives while raising awareness of the benefits choosing Yuasa brings."

The sponsorship highlights Yuasa's dedication to corporate social responsibility and its proactive approach to supporting communities and industries where it operates. Through this partnership, Yuasa aims to make a lasting impact on the fire and security sectors by ensuring they are powered by the knowledge and innovation drawn from more than half a century of expertise in the industry.
