Reflecting upon his career to date, Dean commented, “I joined the British Army in November 2013 as a signaller based in 3rd UK Division, and over the following years I have cultivated multiple skills, pushing myself physically further than ever before and travelled a good portion of the world. However, I made the decision to leave the British Army and try something different and joined a telecommunications company, where I further broadened my experience as a network engineer in a commercial environment.”

Dean added, “Once the opportunity to work for Tsdi presented itself, I knew it would be the ideal career progression for me. I feel so lucky as I had been looking for a chance to progress further in the IT industry and Tdsi has really welcomed me into the team.”

Dean is currently completing internal training for his new role at Tdsi and stated, “Initially, I am really focusing on building on my fundamental understanding of access control and where Tdsi (and its competitors) sit within this ecosystem, although I am already helping our installation partners and customers with their queries. Once my product knowledge has grown, I am looking forward to training others on how to use our systems to reap the full benefits of fully integrated access control.”
