CSL wins IoT alliance of the year award with Vodafone

Now in their 10th year, the IoT Breakthrough Awards celebrate some of the world’s most innovative Internet of Things companies, technologies, and alliances. Following a rigorous evaluation process involving detailed scoring and analysis, IoT Breakthrough confirmed CSL and Vodafone Business as winners of the “IoT Alliance of the Year” award.

With thousands of nominations from across the globe, the 2026 programme was the largest and most competitive to date, spanning solutions from connected homes to industrial and enterprise IoT. This year’s winners include many of the world’s leading IoT brands.

Vodafone Business and CSL were recognised for delivering one of the UK’s most ambitious critical IoT connectivity projects — a secure, resilient, and scalable infrastructure supporting retail sites nationwide.

The project required the modernisation and future-proofing of connectivity across a complex and diverse retail estate, ensuring uninterrupted service, regulatory compliance, and readiness for the UK PSTN switch-off.

Vodafone Business was selected as the strategic communications provider, bringing extensive fixed and mobile network coverage alongside its managed IoT Connectivity platform. CSL was appointed as the specialist IoT services partner, delivering the managed services critical to successful implementation and long-term performance.
