Vivotek showcases intelligent surveillance solutions at CPSE 2015

Taipei, Taiwan

Vivotek will be revealing its intelligent surveillance solutions targeted at vertical markets at the 15th China Public Security Expo for Security & Protection (CPSE 2015) taking place Oct 29 to Nov 1 in the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center. Vivotek will highlight a variety of the latest surveillance products and video analysis technologies, enabling business owners to gain more business intelligence and maximize the surveillance investment.

There are four intelligent surveillance solutions -- for Retail Intelligence, Industrial Plant Management, Smart Stream II H.265, and Efficient Vivocam PoE Switch -- all will be showcased on Vivotek's stand at the CPSE 2015 fair.

The Retail Intelligence solution is specifically designed for the retail market, including the recessed-mount fixed dome network camera, FD816C-HF2. For its tiny size at only 60 mm wide, it fits perfectly into any interior design and offers discreet protection. In addition, Vivotek has allocated R&D resources into people counting analysis, which allows the user to measure visitor traffic and helps retailers to improve business decisions.

To protect properties and assets in factories, and warehouses, Vivotek will present the Industrial Plant Management solution that integrates with an RFID access control partner, allowing security staff to control and manage access to buildings. Also on show will be Vivotek’s License Plate Capture Solutions, the IP816ALPC Kit. This professional 2 megapixel box network camera with external IR LEDs is especially designed for 24/7 day and night vehicle access.

Being a pioneer in IP surveillance, Vivotek will showcase a comprehensive H.265 solution including a lineup of 3 megapixel and 5 megapixel network cameras, 16 and 32 channel network video recorders of ND9441/ ND9541 and the H.265 compliant central management software-VAST 1.11. By adopting Vivotek’s Smart Stream II and H.265, the company maintains that users will benefit from reduced bandwidth and data storage capacity by up to 80% compared with others employing H.264.

With 15-years experience in IP surveillance, Vivotek aims to eliminate the effort in deploying IP surveillance via its Vivocam PoE switch, thought to be the world's first PoE switch with IP surveillance management functions. Three benefits are delivered including quick deployment, smart management and easy trouble shooting, which brings a cost effective and time saving solution for system integrators.

Stacey Lien, Department manager of the International sales department at Vivotek, said "The Internet of Things (IoT) – has now started, and our exhibit this year at CPSE shows that Vivotek is able to bring surveillance value beyond the security system via intelligent solutions. Based on our profound expertise in the industry, we believe Vivotek can play a vital part in IP surveillance transformation.”
