Vivotek expands after-sales service capacity

Continuing its strong commitment to providing solutions and services that best meet the needs of its global customers, Vivotek has recently announced the expansion of its global after-sales service network and warranty policy on a range of its network cameras.

Vivotek’s after-sales services include extensive technical support, and product repair and replacement within the warranty period. In order to support its business development in various markets, which is both rapidly expanding and plays a pivotal role both strategically and geographically, Vivotek has cooperated with several professional Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) centres and valued global distributors, enabling them to provide Vivotek’s high standards of technical authorisation.

Just in year 2014, Vivotek completed the signing of a cooperative agreement with Mexico-based MDS (Mantenimiento de Seguridad). At present Vivotek has successfully built a strong after-sales service at 16 sites across 5 continents, including 4 official RMA centres and 12 distributors’ offices. The 4 RMA centres are located at Vivotek’s headquarter in Taiwan, Comserve Network in the Netherlands, AGS Digital Service in Brazil and MDS in Mexico while the 12 distributors are located in China, Indonesia, India, Iran, Egypt, South Africa, North America, Mexico, Ecuador, Chile and Argentina.

In addition to after-sales services, Vivotek, has announced an extension of its warranty to 3 years for a series of its latest advanced network cameras. These include 6 fixed dome network cameras (FD8355HV, FD8355EHV, FD8365HV, FD8365EHV, FD8155H, and FD8165H); 4 bullet type network cameras (IP8355H, IP8355EH, IP8365H and IP8365EH); and 2 box network cameras (IP8155HP and IP8165HP). These cameras are all equipped with advanced features, such as WDR Pro, WDR Pro II, Supreme Night Visibility and extreme weather-proof. Global customers, who have bought or are going to buy, can now enjoy a 3-year warranty for these 12 network cameras, expanded from the previous 2-year warranty.

Steve Ma, Executive VP at Vivotek, stated, "Vivotek, through seamless integration with local repair centres and also our valued distributors in various regions, has built a strong service network across the globe, ensuring timely customer support, and minimizing service latency. The expansion of our warranty period, in addition to demonstrating our strong belief in the high quality and durability of our products, will give our global customers even greater confidence in cooperating with Vivotek. In the near future, we will introduce the 3-year warranty to even more models."
