The cameras were installed as part of the APCOA CPMS (Car Park Management System) which is using ANPR cameras to identify vehicles entering and exiting the car parking facilities at the airports.

The goal with the project is to digitalise the traffic flow and parking at the airports. There are high demands on system functionality, as many of the airports are located at the coastline of Norway, with rough weather conditions and the North Sea almost hitting the runways. Projects cater for multifaceted solutions, with many different car parks used for several purposes and intricate demands.
