Ksenia launches entry level of Lares

Ripastransone, Italy

The Lares 4.0 family from Ksenia is now being expanded with the introduction of a new ‘entry-level’ version called Lares 4.0 - 16.

This latest addition has been designed and realised to meet all the installation needs for a basic market that simply requires an intrusion control panel system, leaving unchanged the characteristics of power, calculation speed and memory that are the main features of the IoT family Lares 4.0 control panels.

However, if necessary, it is also possible to expand Lares 4.0 - 16, up to obtain an unique and personalised solution for the specific needs of an application.

According to the company, Lares 4.0 represents by far the most advanced and reliable solution in the digital revolution (IoT) for what concerns both security (intrusion, video-surveillance, access control) and home & building automation.

It can manage a number of outputs equal to the number of inputs (sensors) in order to manage lights, climate, irrigation, automatic doors and windows, in short any type of automation or appliances, plus in addition to the security aspects mentioned previously, it can also manage the smart home or smart building.

Features can now be managed by a single user app (Lares 4.0) and programmed by the installer even from any mobile terminal (via an app called Ksenia Pro).

Lares 4.0 is designed to take directly onboard (with no need of having a communication Bus so as to enhance the transit speed of all data) both the 3G module (and soon the 4G-LTE) and, where required, the PSTN module. In all cases the transmission of voice messages, email, contact ID and SIA DC-09 level III protocol to the CMS (central monitoring stations) is guaranteed.
