New features will include incident recording and video export enhancements. Operators will have the ability to record video sequences by dragging cameras of interest into a monitoring tile. With the tile recording option enabled, live and playback video from cameras placed within a tile will be recorded as a single video clip, allowing operators to storyboard complete incidents in the sequence in which they occurred. Furthermore, an enhanced, lightweight media player will allow investigators to easily review video clips that have been exported from Security Center.

The archive transfer facility will allow users to dynamically manage the location of where video recordings are stored by enabling them to copy video from one archiver to another. With the ability to transfer older recordings to less expensive storage equipment, users can reduce their investment in hardware needed to maintain video archives for long periods, or centralise archives when network access to remote systems is limited.

The Security Center Web Client has also been redesigned in version 5.3 offering a new look and simplified user experience. The web client will now be included with all Security Center 5.3 packages, providing even greater access to remote users.
