CNL founder named as industry key influencer

Edinburgh, UK

Keith Bloodworth, CEO and founder, CNL Software

Keith Bloodworth, CEO & founder of CNL Software, was selected as the third most influential leader in the security tech design, development & integration category of the Ifsec Global Influencers Security and Fire listing.

His nomination speaks volumes of what he has brought to the industry, “Keith Bloodworth is best known as a founder of Axis Communications and as an industry visionary always looking at ways to make security capable of doing more with less. He has invested more than three decades of his life and made huge financial commitments into pushing security out of the basement and into the top floor of organisations. Most recently he is the creator of CNL Software, which is at the forefront of physical security development, with users of his software technology ranging from the US government to airports to fortune 500 companies.”

Chosen based on nominations judged by a panel of highly respected judges, the influencers span seven categories, including security management, thought leadership, cyber security, executives, tech innovators and fire safety. The process consisted of two stages. First, Ifsec invited nominations from the Ifsec Global audience and beyond. Then, a panel of judges, drawn from across the industries and barred from featuring in the list themselves, assigned points to each nomination based on the persuasiveness of the nomination, their research into the nominee and their own knowledge of the nominee’s contributions to their field.
