Civintec releases new 3.5” TCP/IP access controller

Shenzhen, China

The CT9 is designed for both online and offline access control.

Civintec, has released a new stylish and modern Crystal Touch Terminal (CT9), an IP web-based access controller with 3.5 inch display and Linux OS, compliant to dual frequencies 125KHz & 13.56MHz contactless smart cards and ISO18092 NFC & encrypted Bluetooth to support Android/IOS mobile ID.

The CT9 terminal brings an affordable access control solution, with embedded web server and TCP/IP (HTTP) to build a server centralised system for real-time secure access control, ideal for managing staff or visitors, for example in hotels, offices etc, and also suitable for IoT systems.

The CT9 is designed for both online and offline access control. CT9 detects the status of network connection and initiates the connection to server automatically. Under online mode, CT9 reads the user card and posts a request to the web server; the server responds to the reader to grant/deny access through standard HTTP protocol. In case of a network interruption/disconnection, the CT9 also functions as a standalone system for access identification.

New software features have also been added to the CT9 to greatly facilitate client usage, cloud server integration and software development. There is an embedded access control software to run on the CT9, with editable elements for the client’s own UI/logo design. In addition, the CT9 SDK includes cloud server software example codes for a client server integration and mobile App demo (BLE) with example codes for mobile App integration. Standard HTTP protocol is also provided for users/log management and date/time/IP settings.
