Zavio launches new H.265 NVR

Hsinchu, Taiwan

After releasing a full line of H.265 cameras featuring their proprietary Smart Codec, which combined with H.265 can achieve storage savings of up to 80% compared to standard H.264 cameras, Zavio has followed up with a whole new H.265 NVR that can fully utilize this massive storage saving potential.

Zavio's N8320 is a full-featured 32ch Linux-based network video recorder with 8 HDD bay that provides a maximum storage capacity of 48TB. When combined with Zavio’s Smart Codec + H.265, which cuts bandwidth consumption by 80%, it translates into extreme long recording duration at unprecedented low storage costs.

The N8320 can support 12MP recording resolution and 4K display resolution. Its high decoding capacity enables simultaneous live view of up to 16ch full HD real time or a total of 480fps @ 1080p / 120fps @ 4K.

Apart from the local dual display, the standalone NVR also supports remote and mobile access from a variety of devices such as computers, tablets and smartphones. Users can easily add the NVR into the mobile APP 'ZAVIOR' by inserting the IP address, scanning QR code or through Wi-Fi search – making the remote access experience easier and a whole lot more convenient.

Additional features include free P2P service which allows remote access to the NVR without the need of port-forwarding and other complicated router settings.

Zavio N8320 is ideal for numerous applications – especially for installations where large numbers of cameras are installed. The embedded IP Camera Batch Maintenance enables users to upgrade cameras firmware, language pack, and even reboot or reset camera batch to factory settings – providing an effective management of the connected cameras.
