Zandar Unleashes The Predator VC/VS with ZdH Dual Head Display Capacity for 24/7 Monitoring at ASIS 2006

DUBLIN, IRELAND

Zandar Technologies is to showcase the Predator VC/VS MultiViewers and ZdH Dual Head feature at ASIS 2006 in San Diego, CA, USA.
"The Predator VC/VS MultiViewers bring the benefits of easy operator control, compact size, cost effectiveness, outstanding image quality as well as reliability in control rooms operating 24/7. Perfectly matched for use with today's modern control room display technologies, the units are able to monitor all camera and graphics sources for the display on one central wall" explains Deirdre Smith, CEO at Zandar Technologies.
The Predator VC/VS MultiViewers are available in fixed configurations of 12 and 16 inputs and are packed with features including built-in video camera / source labeling and advanced control and configuration options. This can be achieved using the sophisticated Zandar Dual Head (ZdH) facility.
ZdH ultimately provides two MultiViewers in one chassis, with outstanding cost savings. It also brings substantial redundancy benefits in the event of display failure, with the ability to re-route all channels to the remaining active display with no loss of function in the control room.
The facility allows the seamless flexibility to drive two displays at any one time where inputs can be viewed on either display, including the option to horizontally span the image across the displays.
The addition of the new Z-Controller software enables the manipulation and set up of displays using an individual or group of MultiViewers. This is an ideal function for busy control rooms. The software can be seamlessly configured and includes scenarios and layout, alarms settings and audio configuration.
The Predator VC/VS MultiViewers will be showcased alongside the FusionPro+ and DX Series MultiViewers in an advanced control room scenario at ASIS 2006.
