Wireless LCD keypad with two-way communication and a built-in RFID reader

Jablonec nad Nisou (Czech Republic)

Jablotron Group, the Czech alarm system/home automation designer and manufacturer, has launched their latest 868 MHz wireless alarm system called OASIS, continuing Jablotron's unique modular system concept. The system offers IP/GPRS/PSTN communication with Alarm Receiving Centres (ARC) , Bluetooth interface, internet remote control, SMS reporting, home appliance remote control and handles up to 50 peripherals and 50 entry cards/codes.

Other noteworthy features are the ergonomic wireless LCD keypad which includes two-way communication and a built-in RFID reader, real-time door/window status indication, multi-level partial arming and a clever garage door function allowing the user to delay arming until the garage door is closed. Its selectable Confirmed Alarm Mode facilitates alarm activation by at least two detectors from different zones within a certain period for new UK requirements.
Among the possible 50 peripherals are combined PIR/glass break detectors , fully-wireless outdoor sirens, invisible window-detectors and outdoor wired RFID keypads.
Adding the SP-02 speaker-phone allows an ARC to communicate directly with the protected premises to confirm the validity of alarm activations. Interestingly, a car installed with mini-size detectors can also be protected when parked nearby.
Programming by connected PC and customisable installation are simple, and users get a 3 year battery lifetime and ease-of-use, despite its advanced features.
