Swiss company Legic Identsystems Ltd, a developer of contactless smart card technology for personal identification purposes, is extending its partner network. With German-based Warok GmbH, the technology company gains a renowned specialist in the field of mobile computing.

Warok is integrating the Legic advant reader module in Psion Teklogix's hand-held Workabout PRO G2 computer and thus offering contactless identification systems to satisfy the most modern security demands. With modern Legic technology the company thus enhances its standard products in the field of people and access control.

Dominik Rotzinger, CEO of Warok GmbH, has high hopes that the licence partnership with Legic will boost further business development: "The integration of Legic technology in the hand-held computer of our Workabout PRO product family creates new possibilities for automatic data collection and transfer, without the need for a full system change. Our partners and their customers will obviously benefit from this."

Dr Otto Eggimann, vice president sales & business development at Legic, is delighted about the licence partnership agreement: "I am convinced that through this partnership Warok acquires significantly improved know-how. Customers, who want flexible solutions with mobile hand-held terminals using Legic technology, will find a competent partner in Warok."
