Assan Motor and Atlas Khodro, both the subsidiaries of Geramies Business Group (GBG), are located in Tehran and Kish Island, respectively. Tehran is Iran's largest city and urban area, and the largest city in Western Asia. Kish Island, located in the Persian Gulf, is part of the Hormozgān Province of Iran.

Assan Motor and Atlas Khodro commissioned Pooya Fara Negar (PFN) to carry out the project. In order to best meet the demand, PFN carried out the project together with Vivotek. With Vivotek’s high-quality cameras at suitable prices, Assan Motor and Atlas Khodro have installed several models in the showrooms, offices, car warehouses, service centres and outside areas. The two companies are extremely pleased with the performances of Vivotek cameras, indicating that the image quality is impeccable and the technologies implemented on the products are highly advanced and suitable for professional projects such as these. The deployment of Vivotek’s cameras was completed in February 2014.

In the showrooms and offices, the FD8164 and FD8136 were selected and installed for their small dimensions, quality design, and excellent image quality. The Vivotek FD8164 is an easy-to-use fixed dome network camera specifically designed for indoor security applications with a compact, stylish exterior. Designed with 2 megapixel CMOS sensor, the FD8164 is capable of capturing high quality and high resolution video. Vivotek FD8136 is marketed as the world’s smallest fixed dome network camera. With easy installation and Power over Ethernet functionality, setup time can be completed in less than 120 seconds, making installation quick and easy.

As for the outdoor and parking areas, the IP8362 and IP8372 were installed for their full HD and 5 MP resolutions. The Vivotek IP8362 is a 1080p outdoor bullet network camera designed for diverse outdoor applications. With full HD resolution in 16:9 aspect ratio and WDR enhancement, users can identify image details in extremely bright as well as dark environments. The Vivotek IP8372 is a professional bullet camera offering 5 megapixel or 1080p full HD resolution with quality image capability up to 30 fps. Featuring 5 megapixel resolution and high-performance H.264/MPEG-4/MJPEG compression technology, the IP8372 offers extra-smooth video and wide coverage.

There are 65 FD8164, 20 FD8136, 66 IP8362, and 30 IP8372 installed in this project. In total, Assan Motor and Atlas Khodro deployed 181 Vivotek cameras. William Ku, Vice President, International Business Division indicated; " We are pleased that Assan Motor and Atlas Khodro chose Vivotek cameras for assisting in the expansion of their security projects.
