Taipei, Taiwan

Continuing with its active commitment to smart city development Vivotek will be endeavouring to create a comprehensive pavilion by introducing a range of innovative new products and diverse intelligent surveillance technologies at Secutech 2014.
At the show, Vivotek will be inviting visitors to experience a range of innovative network surveillance technologies, advanced intelligent surveillance functions, and surveillance solutions that will satisfy the needs of  various vertical applications.

Secutech 2014, also known as the 17th International Exhibition and Conference for Electronic Security, Info Security, Fire, and Safety, will be held in the Taipei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Hall from the 19th to the 21st of March, 2014.

At the event, Vivotek will be adopting a multi-scenario design, which incorporates city and streetscapes, traffic and vehicle monitoring, home security, retail stores, and factory management, to present the benefits and high commercial value that Vivotek’s intelligent surveillance solutions can have on the promotion and implementation of smart cities, and consequently guide visitors in experiencing the tight-knit relationship between intelligent surveillance and everyday life and its benefits.

Vivotek believes that smart application-enabled infrastructures and advanced computation technologies are the key promoters of smart city development. Thus, with the objectives of assisting clients in obtaining greater commercial benefits through the installation of surveillance systems and enhancing the added-value of surveillance solutions, Vivotek has continued to actively promote intelligent surveillance and develop high-quality products that meet smart city applications and customer needs.

Since Vivotek was established in 2000, the company has strived to obtain superior research and development experience and resources, subsequently mastering the core technologies for video and audio compression, accumulating considerable professionalism in the fields of network protocols, mechatronic integration, multimedia systems, and hardware/software development, and collaborating with global leaders in software manufacturing. It is these achievements that the company believes have allowed Vivotek to ceaselessly provide high-quality, innovative, and diversified intelligent surveillance solutions.

Furthermore, highresolution, high image usability, and low bandwidth consumption are extremely important features that support intelligent surveillance. In this context, Vivotek has developed network cameras that offer high-end features, including low light technology, wide dynamic range (WDR) technology, 3D noise reduction (3DNR) technology, and smart stream technology, perfectly presenting intelligent surveillance.

Executive Vice President of Vivotek, Mr. Steve Ma, asserted, “Following the trend of urbanisation, the key issue for developing or developed countries is the promotion of smart city development. To accomplish this feat, the perfect collaboration between software and hardware must be achieved, which consequently enables the extensive and comprehensive integration of information, and thereby facilitates seamless and efficient information transmission. Therefore, the establishment of smart cities can not only enhance national operations and policy promotions in the public sector, and exponentially increase and optimise business operations and quality of life in the private sector, but also promote the development of global economics and reinforce the allocation of global resources. Vivotek continues to uphold a high level of corporate social responsibility (CSR) to provide surveillance solutions that satisfy client and market needs and accelerate the transition into a smart city."
