Vivotek launches Supreme range for professional solutions

Essen, Germany

On their stand during the Essen show this week, Vivotek is announcing a new series, Supreme, the latest network cameras designed to meet the most technically demanding professional surveillance market requirements. The launch of the Supreme series marks Vivotek's entry into a new era of technology, and they believe it brings a new definition to HD surveillance video.
The Supreme series cameras are characterised by their extreme video clarity, which ensures accurate colour reproduction and fulfills requirements for the most critical application environments. High definition 2-, 3-, and 5-megapxiel resolution ensure exceptional details and razor-sharp images.

Exceptional 60 fps full HD as well as 30 fps 1.3MP record smooth, crystal-clear video when monitoring fast-moving scenes or action at high speed. The quality sensor and colour reproduction technology, Supreme Night Visibility, makes for vivid, clear night time surveillance with high image quality. The WDR technology can also ensure an identifiable image in high contrast environments where backlight, glare, or light reflection may be present. In addition, P-iris (offered on certain models) offers optimal images in all lighting conditions with better contrast, clarity, and depth of field.

"Vivotek is constantly striving to provide the highest quality products and a best-in-class solution for partners," said Mr. Own Chen, Chairman of Vivotek. "The new Supreme series boasts superior performance and establishes a 'supreme' image that will clearly differentiate us from competitors."

Vivotek's IP8151 is the first of the Supreme professional-series fixed network camera range which will be launched in September 2010 and first released on show at Security Essen in Germany. Equipped with Sony Exmor 1.3-megapixel CMOS sensor, the IP8151 offers Supreme Night Visibility as one of its chief features, capturing both exceptional details during daytime and offering unparalleled visibility with true color under low-light conditions down to 0.04 lux.

To further support their commitment of "Built with Reliability" to their customers, Vivotek has also announced an increase in the warranty period on the Supreme series products to three (3) years. The company suggests that this will strengthen the long-term value of their products and guarantees their performance and reliability, allowing customers to better control costs as well as peace of mind. "This warranty extension clearly demonstrates our goal to give our customers confidence and peace of mind when committing themselves to Vivotek's products and services," according to Owen Chen, Chairman of Vivotek.
