The IP8131, the enhanced version of the IP8130, is especially suited to low-light situations with a removable IR-cut filter for day and night functionality and built-in IR Illuminators, effective up to 6 metres, and securing excellent video quality under completely dark environments.

IP8130 and IP8131, both equipped with 1-megapixel CMOS sensors, are able to capture 1280 x 800 resolution video at 30 fps. Also, by supporting industry-standard H.264 compression technology, bandwidth and storage consumption can be reduced significantly. With a built-in microphone able to record sounds within a 5 metre radius, the surveillance capabilities of the IP8130 and IP8131 are quite unique.

With the bundled ST7501 multi-lingual 32-channel recording software, users can set up an IP surveillance system easily with both models. Driven by mobile device trends and a demand for more intelligent applications, Vivotek also provides a smart phone application, Iviewer, for both Iphone and Android platforms, enabling users to monitor live video off-site in real time.
