SmartDisc is suitable for combined video alarm verification and remote-site monitoring with all the features of long-term digital recording. Designed primarily with the security industry and BS8418 in mind, the SmartDisc range enables the efficient transmission of live and recorded video images and alarms. The built-in 120GB hard disk drive allows for a number of recording options. These include recording to schedule, such as out of office hours, motion activated recording and contacting recording such as when a PIR is tripped thus activating an alarm.

The Multi-Unicast and integrated web servers allow for multiple users to simultaneously access footage on the hard disk drive. This allows managers and other authorised personnel to view live and recorded information at any time. Telemetry control also gives these users the ability to remotely move cameras and domes to cover specific views.
