University enhances access control with Hundure
Taipei, Taiwan
The e-Nitor web version software has been applied in this project and is managed by respective college or department staff. The e-Nitor web supports various controllers, working with hardware NCU-3001, RAC-2000, RAC-960, HDE-100 (elevator controller) and various readers in this project. The NCU-3001 is a 30 door controller solution and possesses smart automatic memory features allowing each Learning type reader to work independently even when the controller is disconnected.
The system integrates access control panel, standalone controller, time attendance, elevator control, parking control, plus equipment and laboratory booking systems together. This all works under the e-Nitor web version platform. Administrators can check reports, set parameters or authorisations from an IE browser anytime or from any PC. The web system is able to correct date and times for the controller automatically once the server reboots.
All the above mentioned features are carried out on a single student card (or personnel card) on campus. This card is also integrated with the MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) card so students (or personnel) can use it to take the MRT and then also use it on campus for all required system applications there too.
The meal service function where a monetary value is stored and deducted & CCTV integration are also preloaded, ready for potential future requirements from the NCTU.
