Theia's new SL183 is said to be the only lens to offer an un-distorted image with up to 115° HFOV, five megapixel resolution, true zoom focus, and day/night correction - all in a compact 1.8-3mm varifocal lens. This lens will be available from October 2010.

The SL940 9 - 40mm telephoto lens will provide 36° to 7° HFOV, 4.5x optical zoom, 5 megapixel resolution, and IR correction in a 50mm envelope - a combination of features rarely found in other telephoto lenses. Shipments will begin December 2010.

The company will also be introducing their new lens calculator at the show, it works along the same lines as their web based calculator, except that this is a handheld device.Theia's new lens calculator app' provides the expected image resolution for your conditions, but now from the convenience of your handheld device on a job site. You input the camera distance and resolution, lens choice, and field of view needed. The tool calculates the image resolution and shows a picture at that resolution. The first 50 visitors to the Theia booth at ASIS this week will be lucky enough to receive Theia's new image caculator application for Droid and iPhone handheld devices for free. After the first 50 visitors, the Droid application will be available on the Android marketplace.
