Teleste launches new H.264 encoder platform
Essen, Germany
Telestest recently exhibited at the Security Essen 2010 event, where their highlights included the launch of MPH, the new Teleste H.264 encoder platform which follows the track record set by the MPX platform, as well as the release of the new VMX suite 5.0, which introduces many new features.
The VMX Touch Screen Client interface, showcased as part of the live VMX system, attracted many visitors to the stand ready to learn more about suite 5.0 and Teleste’s philosophy for video management. In addition to the CFO range of fibre modems, visitors who were seeking solutions for migrating from existing analogue installations towards IP-based systems also found the Ethernet transmission over the coaxial network to be highly interesting.
Teleste, as a contributing member, also participated in the ONVIF annual meeting that was held during the exhibition. ONVIF is a global interface standard for IP-based physical security technology. For the third time, ONVIF organised a public plug fest and a reception where vendors had the opportunity to demonstrate their ONVIF-compliant products. Next time it will be Teleste’s turn to demonstrate ONVIF-compliant products, including both network video clients (NVC) and network video transmitters (NVT).
