AHD solution offers older analogue CCTV systems a simple way to ugrade to HD video surveillance. In general when users initially adopt an SD surveillance system and then decide to switch to HD at a later point in time, the entire system often needs to be replaced. Similar to conventional composite video cameras, data compression on AHD cameras is not required.
