Teleeye launches 1080p analogue HD solutions

Hong Kong, China

New Teleeye AHD solutions

Teleeye is introducing a new range of 1080p Analogue HD (AHD) video surveillance solutions which includes the AF Series AHD 1080p cameras and JN6 Series AHD 1080p DVRs. The JN6 Series AHD 1080p DVRs come in a range of 4-, 8- and 16-channel models. Besides supporting the AHD and conventional composite video analogue cameras, the JN6 Series AHD 1080p DVRs can also work with the TeleEee MP Series IP cameras.

AHD solution offers older analogue CCTV systems a simple way to ugrade to HD video surveillance. In general when users initially adopt an SD surveillance system and then decide to switch to HD at a later point in time, the entire system often needs to be replaced. This not only generates additional costs, but also causes interruptions and inconvenience to current surveillance operations.

With Teleeye’s 1080p AHD solutions, there is no need to disturb the wiring from the existing SD system or setup a new IP system. Users can continue to use their existing coaxial cables. All that is required in order to upgrade from SD to HD is to replace the existing cameras and DVRs with the new products from Teleeye’s 1080p AHD solutions. These 1080p AHD cameras and DVRs are not only capable of backward compatibility, but also have seamless compatibility with standard analogue equipment, making them HD and SD switchable.

Teleeye 1080p AHD systems use point to point transmission to secure smooth and reliable image quality. Generally IP cameras can only transmit videos up to approximately 100m, but Teleeye’s 1080p AHD cameras can obtain a long-distance HD video transmission through a coaxial cable of up to 400m. In this case, these Teleeye 1080p AHD cameras and DVRs can provide users with a solution that will allow them to monitor to a much greater distance, with effective video quality and minimal noise. In comparison to traditional analogue products, Teleeye believes that their AHD products transmit images in a superior quality.

Similar to conventional composite video cameras, data compression on AHD cameras is not required. Hence  Teleeye can ensure minimal latency on the AHD video feeds, preventing broken footage and delays in the results. With the most precise performance ensured, during video surveillance the details do not go amiss, triggering prompt swift preventive actions from the operators and the footage captured may be used as supporting evidence to assist in investigations if necessary.

The new Teleeye 1080p AHD products are all fully compatible with Teleeye video  management software. These include Teleeye Suresight, an integrated video management platform. Teleeye Sureguard which offers an end-to-end alarm management solution that complies with the British CCTV standard, BS8418 and last but not least Teleeye Iview HD which is designed for users to remotely monitor from any location.

The new Teleeye JN6 Series of 1080p AHD DVRs provide an alternative for users who are currently employing  a mixture of analogue and IP cameras, but do not want to adopt different DVRs to record the images captured by cameras with different signal formats. These hybrid DVRs are also an economical option for those who are considering a transition from analogue to IP at a later period in time.
