The MX900 series is incorporated with HD SMAC-M multi-stream technology, which can save 50% network bandwidth and storage space in comparison to many other H.264-based HD cameras. Moreover the MX900 series HD network cameras are engineered to be hacker resistant with extra network and data security measures built into the design.

In terms of installer friendliness, the new MX975-HD comes with functions including a vari-focal and focus control. This allows the field engineers to adjust the viewing angle and focus of the camera from their computers via the network.
